What is RSS?

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a special web document used to frequently update news and information from sources like news headlines, blogs, and podcasts. An RSS update is called an RSS feed.

How does RSS work?

RSS content is read with web-enabled software called an RSS reader. You can subscribe to SSL's feeds by clicking on any one of the buttons or links to the right, depending on how you want the feed delivered. Whichever one you choose, the reader will check the SSL RSS feeds regularly and will automatically download any new content that it finds.

NOTE: If you are using Firefox, Opera, Safari or Internet Explorer 7, an RSS reader is included in your browser. Simply click on the XML link above to open your reader and subscribe.

What are the benefits of using RSS?

RSS allows you to stay up-to-date on all news coming from SSL. Once you subscribe to an RSS feed, the latest information from that feed will be automatically delivered to you via your RSS feed reader.

How can I sign up to receive RSS feeds from SSL?

The links to the right are all RSS feed subjects currently offered by SSL. For every topic you want to subscribe to, click the button or link of the reader you want to use, and you'll be prompted to open that reader and will start receiving that feed. Then, once you've subscribed, each time you visit your reader you'll find the latest feeds waiting for you. It's easy!
